Mission
The name 'Peach Season' was a gift in itself.
Many nights had been spent writing Norfolk names, phrases, meanings... trying to find just the 'right' name for the concept of a gift delivery service for locals living abroad to send a gift to a loved one here at home...
Holding a list of possible names, I sat in a spot previously shared with a loved one who had passed on recently, trying to figure out which name to use...I looked up and noticed a peach tree growing in the yard and the phrase 'peach season' popped into my head. It was a gift, representing a 'cussed' & warped sense of humour with the actual translation being representative of the cycle of a year....
'Peach Season' is a Norfolk phrase spoken in jest to someone who you rarely visit or see as much as you would like..you'd say.. 'might see you again before next Peach Season'...!
